Feel battered and shattered. Eyes all a twitch. Nose bunged up and raw. Clogged up with ooze. My throat; it tickles, desperate need to itch. Sniffing and snuffling into pink and red hues. Eyes watering, burning my cheeks. Throat so tight, constricting my breath. Relief is far away. Days? Even weeks? Whisper an uttering; my voice’s death. Stuck here, alone, in an over stuffed bed. Cocooned in boredom. Tired but not asleep A warm towel wrapped around my head. By the table; medicine. Just a bottle I keep. A cold I caught yesterday. I wish it away.

There once was a time when the world was taller, (Although, more likely; that I was much smaller) I was spent my time in fantasy reading; Tales of good and evil or heroes succeeding.
But for all my time spent in lands of pretend, I forgot all the want, no need, for a true friend. True, I had classmates, but they were all bores; No time had they for knights, nor magic and wars.
